Why Coyotes?

Why Coyotes?

Friends ask “Why coyotes?” So many reasons! Coyotes are survivors. They are smart, curious, playful, and they learn and adapt quickly. Coyote vocalizations range from yips to howls, growls, woofs, huffs, barks, whines, and more. Like our words, each sound has a unique meaning and they allow coyotes to communicate and share. The owner of Coyote Tales grew up on a farm and at night coyotes would gather beneath a lone apple tree located just down the hill from her house. They would howl her to sleep, a rambunctious, yet somehow plaintive and mysterious lullaby that she learned to love.
